2016 Reading Challenge and Blog updates

I set my reading challenge for 2016 at 50 books. I have read 27 books so far so maybe this wasn’t much of a challenge for me but this is the first time that I am keeping track of the books that I read so 50 seemed like a good goal.

10428053I started doing bookish memes/weekly features this month and they are so much fun.I have met quite a number of awesome bloggers through this. The weekly features that I have been doing are:

Tuesday– Top Ten Tuesdays hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

top ten tuesday

Wednesday– Top 5 Wednesday hosted by Lainey and WWW Wednesday hosted by Sam

Friday– Friday Finds hosted by Jenn

So those are my reading and blogging highlights for March 2016. I didn’t read as much as I would have wanted to and will probably even read less in April but I did come across some awesome books so I am happy about that. I hope your month was equally good.

If you have a monthly wrap up post then share your link. I would love to know how your month has been.

giphySee you in April ❤

Being A Book Nerd

Thank you all for tagging me to do the 3 days 3 quotes challenge.

These bloggers had some pretty awesome quotes. Click on the links above and see what I what I am talking about. Follow their blogs too for some more awesome posts.

The rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you
  2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days
  3. Nominate 3 new bloggers each day

My second quote is:

“I guess by now I should know enough about loss to realize that you never really stop missing someone-you just learn to live around the huge gaping hole of their absence.”
Alyson Noel, Evermore

I explained the theme that I am using for this challenge in my Day 1 post yesterday.

Today I nominate:

Sorry if you have already done the challenge or if you don’t do challenges/tags. I hope that you will do this one though. They don’t have to be quotes from books by the way, you can also quote other people, poets, anyone really  so not necessarily authors.
