To take part all you need to do is answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
So here’s my 3 W’s for the week.
Recently Finished
Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica- This book was quite exciting. It had so much suspense, many good twists and an unpredictable plot-line. The book reminded me of how much I love good psychological Thrillers.
You and Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes- So after reading Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica, I decide to find other psychological thrillers. I got a number of good books from our library and some from friends. These two books came highly recommended. They are twisted, creepy and quite fast paced. The two books reminded me of the TV Show, Dexter. They both feature Joe Goldberg, a creepy serial killer searching for love.
I used to love this TV Show though I never read the books.
Currently Reading
Where I Lost Her by T,.Greenwood- This is another psychological thriller. A woman spots a three year old alone running into the woods at 11:00pm. She knows what she saw but nobody else believes her. I am almost done with one. It’s a quite interesting. The suspense is on and off though.
Reading Next
So I have abandoned my TBR list and decided to read a bunch of psychological thrillers. I really don’t want to read any other type of books right now. I don’t know which book to pick next but below are the books that I have collected.
Have you read any of these books? Do you know any other psychological thrillers that I should add to my reading list?
So how about you, have you read anything interesting lately? What are you reading now? What do you plan on reading next? Share your WWW links (or any similar memes) in the comments section and I will pay your blog a visit.
Nice post!👍
I added You, Hidden Bodies and Where I Lost Her on my TBR.😁
YAY, I hope you enjoy them 🙂 Thanks and Happy reading.
I love psychological thrillers, there are dozens of them in my to-buy list! Distress Signals is released on May 5th and I heard great things about it. There’s also The Truth About Julia or When She Was Bad. I am starting The Sister next week, it sounds very promising. The Girl in the Ice and All Things Cease To Appear are on my TBR.
I am glad Pretty Baby brought you back on the psychological thriller path 🙂
Where I lost her sounds good, I’ll be waiting for your review.
Happy reading!

Thank you for all the recommendations. Just read the Goodreads synopsis for each of them and they all sound promising. I searched for When She was Bad and it seems like there are a number of published books by that title. There is one by Jonathan Nasaw that sounds really interesting but seems like part of a book series. Could that be the one that you meant? The sisters has a very promising synopsis. I hope you enjoy it 🙂
Sorry, I should have been more specific! I was referring to Tammy Cohen’s When She Was Bad. I heard plenty of great things about it.
Thank you.I will look it up and hopefully add it to my TBR.Happy reading.
Some of these are on my tbr. I like to read this genre whenever I want to get mind fu****. LOL! You should try Lacy Eye by Jessica Treadway or anything by Gillian Flynn.
hahaha yes, I guess that is what I wanted when I turned to this genre. I have been in a dark mood so I couldn’t stand happy books 🙂 Lacy Eye sounds really good. I have just checked the Goodreads synopsis and definitely adding that to my TBR, thanks. I have read Gone Girl and I have Dark Places though its been on my shelf for a while now. Thanks for the recommendations 🙂
I’ve heard so many good things about The Girl in the Ice, I want to read it eventually. I’m going to take another break from psychological thrillers though because I find them quite stressful and exhausting to read! I just want to climb inside the book and sort everything out 🙂
I loved the TV version of Dexter and I’m sure the books are good too… something else for the to read pile!

Oh enjoy your break and I hope you find something good to read from other genres. I feel like reading nothing but psychological thrillers for now. Its a phase to go with my current mood 🙂 Dexter was fun. I binge watched all 8 seasons in like a week because I started watching the show after it had ended. I hope the books are nice though.
Happy reading. Heading over to your post now.
You have some really interesting books. I have been meaning to read You, just haven’t got there yet. I do like a good psychological thriller. I just haven’t been reading much of them lately. I haven’t read any of them, but I have heard good things about Girl in the Ice. I hope you find something great 🙂
Thank you and I do hope to enjoy Girl in the Ice. I think that will be my next read because it has been mentioned a couple of times 🙂
Happy reading and happy Wednesday.
You have some great books in your post this week. You’ve made me want to bump You by Caroline Kepnes up my TBR pile and also to get the follow up to it. I hope you enjoy reading more psychological thrillers, I go through phases with them but absolutely love when a book has me completely hooked and where I don’t know who to trust.
