When Life Happens

Hi everyone!

Some of you might have noticed that I have been kinda inconsistent around blogosphere.  I have been trying to post at least once per week but even with that, it has become hard to comment back and visit other blogs like I used to. I still try but it is not the same.

My life has been moving so fast. With the wedding, career progress and some other happenings in my life (soon to be mom), I find myself blogging less and less. Reading has also taken a hit. I have been reading the same book for 2 and ½ weeks now. I have tried to reduce my ARCs but it seems like I can’t get back to my regular reading pace at the moment.

LAZY

Honestly, most are the days when I just don’t feel like doing anything but exist and eat. Other days, I get bursts of energy and try to do as much as I can before going back to my lazy/disinterest mode for days.

I am still here. I will still try to post at least weekly and visit all your lovely blogs as much as I can. However, I can’t promise to be anything but sporadic for now. Life can be overwhelming and that is the season that I am in right now. Thank you for sticking with me so far.

  1. Congratulations 🎊 💃 🎉 oh my darling. You need lots of rest. The hormones would do that. Body is preparing and storing energy for the baby. So you would be a bit more relaxed and sleeping a lot. Get lots of rest. Sleep on your left side. Mediate more. Take deep breaths, more oxygen to the baby. Enjoy this phase

    1. Thank you dear Shalini ❤ And that is great advise. I have been trying to sleep on my left side though I keep turning for comfort. I didn't know that tip about deep breaths, thanks a lot for sharing. Definitely slowing down in all areas though and getting some good rest.

  2. Take care of yourself and that baby! Certainly don’t worry about all of us! We will be here for you and totally understand!

  3. Congratulations!!! What an exciting time in your life! The next year or so is probably going to be exhausting, so just focus on yourself and that baby. The rest will return in time.

    1. Thank you, Deanna ❤ I am looking forward to the baby getting here but so nervous about the coming sleepless nights 😀 Slowing down and enjoying the journey at the moment though.

      1. I had a baby who didn’t sleep through the night until she was like 2. Those two years felt long, but they really went fast. You’ll get through it. Everyone else I know had good sleepers.

    1. Thank you, Laila ❤ I find that I don't really have much interest in books or even TV shows. Most of my attention is on pregnant and nursing groups and information boards lol. Its such a wonderful time though so I am enjoying it 🙂

  4. Congratulations! No wonder you don’t have energy for blogging all the time. Never mind – once the baby is 25, you should have plenty of time again… 😉

  5. Congrats! 😀 That’s awesome news on being a mom soon. 😀
I don’t think this should be stressful if it’s your hobby, so no sweat. Take it easy and blog when you can. And all the best to you and your fam. 🙂

    1. Yeah, definitely doing this as a hobby. It just feels so different not being able to post regularly and losing the syk to even read at all. Taking it easy for now though. Thank you Zezee 🙂

  6. That is so exciting. Congratulations Diana. You do what you need to do. We all get busy and life is important. When you post, I will read it. Take care of yourself and the baby.

  7. Diana!! I’m so happy to hear about the good news. I figured as much from another post. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Please don’t worry about not being able to read and comment on all the blogs. I’ve had many life altering things going on over the past months and haven’t been able to read much or check in myself (I mean, look how long it’s taken me to catch up on your posts 🤦🏽‍♀️), but I do the best I can. Blogging is a hobby, so you get around to your hobby when you can. Don’t worry, we love your reviews so much we’ll never leave you. 😉 Thanks for the update. Take good care of yourself. 🤗

    1. Hi Laurie, thank you so much ❤ Its been an interesting time. I can't seem to stay focused long enough to read like I used to. Sometimes I am just not in the mood while other times the little one decides to distract me with kicks that I can't ignore. I love feeling and watching them 🙂

I hope that things are better on your side and mama is getting better.

      1. I’m so happy for you Diana!! 🥰 This is a very special time for you. Enjoy it. If you think you’re distracted now, wait until the little one is here. 😉

Thank you, Diana. Mom is coming along slowly. I’m trying to get some physical issues taken care of for myself too. It’s been a rough year, but I’m still thankful for the blessings. 🤗

        Take care.
