WWW Wednesday (October 21st 2020)

WWW Wednesday is a book list hosted by Taking on a World of Words. To take part all you need to do is answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What I finished reading:

This Fragile Heart by Kate Hewitt            5/5x – Lookout for my review on Friday

One Left Alive by Helen Phifer 4/5 – You can read my review here

What I’m reading now:

The Wife by Shalini Boland – I am only a few pages in so haven’t yet formed an opinion about this one. However, I have enjoyed all books by this author so my expectations are pretty high.

What I’ll (probably) read next:

The Girls in the Snow (Nikki Hunt #1) by Stacy Green

Dead Woman Crossing (Detective Kimberly King #1) by J. R. Adler

I have started so many cop procedural series this year. I seem to be reading this genre more than any other at the moment. I have 2 new series to start this week.

What are you reading this week? Share your link in the comments below so that I can come and take a look!

Ps: Is anyone struggling with the block editor on wordpress? It has made posting so difficult for me. I have tried using the classic editor but I really don’t understand why they changed everything up. Which blocks are y’all using?

    1. I know what you mean about the images. That has also been a struggle for me. I just learnt this week how to insert tiled images. The whole block editor isn’t very user-friendly, I think.

Thank you so much, Cathy. Have a wonderful week. Happy reading.

  1. Lately WordPress has not been allowing me to paste the image address into block editor. I have had to download the image first in order to post to my blog. Don’t know why that is. It used to work before with block editor.

    1. I think they just keep changing up stuff. They even had the old editor available but I’ve noticed that they withdrew it completely last month. I also have to download pics now and upload them again. I still don’t know how to insert the feature image since it won’t allow me to paste it. I am so not a fan of this new editor 😦

    1. Thanks Yvonne. I am halfway in and now fully intrigued by the mystery. I haven’t been reading much of this genre either but I can’t resist Shalini’s books 🙂
