I started reading when I was still young. It started with the fairy tale storybooks and I had them all, Cinderella, Snow White, Goldilocks, Jack and the Beanstalk. I used to read and reread those book and guard them.
Then I discovered novels and started reading Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley series, Hardy Boys and Ngugi Wa Thiong’o.
I have been reading since and so I decided to start this blog to talk about my favorite books.Occasionally, I post short stories and travel reviews. Nice to meet you all.
ps: the images used from this blog are mostly borrowed from google images and goodreads for book reviews. I try and accredit sources as much as possible. If you see an image here that you think I should pull down then kindly let me know. Thank you.

Hello, I was wondering if you can help my promote some of my short stories by posting them on your blog. Thanks.
Hey,I’m sorry but not sure if I can help.I think you may need to feed blogs that do promotions.Mine doesn’t have much traffic and I have never done promotional posts.I also see that you have a blog so how about you try do it then promote your posts on social media? Also try find other bloggers and interact with them. That usually helps
Thanks… My blog’s traffic has reduced since the new year… Thanks anyway
Have you written a book of short stories or where are they?
They are still separated, I haven’t made them into a book but it’s in the works… I’ll inform you on completion
All the best and don’t be discouraged. My traffic is up and down too.Sometimes as low as 5 views in a day.Its been like that but I just keep trying.I’ll keep checking your blog.
Thanks a lot… All the best too

Hi Diana, do you have an email address where I may contact you? I’ve published a women’s fiction book, Poets, Artists, Lovers: A Novel, which I think you may like. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at it and see if you’re interested to review it. The info is on my blog at http://theartdive.wordpress.com
Hi nice to meet you, you sound very similar to me. I’m an aspiring writer/author. Currently working on my FIRST short story and my FIRST novel. The story will be about mental health and easing awareness I hope. Then the novel will crime procedures and a serial killer thriller. Will keep an extra eye on your blog for your short stories and of course your book reviews which looks like you like similar books to me..
Well that wasn’t a good start.. not long been awake, I really shouldn’t read blogs when I’m half asleep!!
**Mental health and Raising awareness, I hope.**
***Then the novel will be about crime procedures and a serial killer thriller. ***
****I will keep an eye on your blog, especially your short stories and . Of course, your book reviews look and sounds good but, I think you and I have the same taste in genre.****
